Here the "amazeballs" are made two ways. The different combinations are endless! try adding different things like, matcha powder, spirulina, differrent nuts/nut butters, dried fruit pieces, rolling in different toppings like coconut and cacao (pictured here) or crushed nuts. I will give you my basic "protein truffle" recipe and then its up to you, be creative and make it AMAZEBALLS!!!
Chocolate Chip Protein "Amazeballs"
1/2 Cup Vanilla Protein Powder (can sub any flavor you like)
1/2 Cup Coconut Flour
1/2 Cup Almond Butter ( sub any nut butter)
2 T Coconut oil (melted)
Dash Sea Salt
1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
2 T Almond Milk (can sub Coco, Hemp, Cashew, Espresso)
1/4 cup Cacao Nibs ( can sub nuts, dried fruit, granola, oats, coconut)
Cacao powder or shredded unsweetened Coconut to roll in
Directions: In a large mixing bowl with a wooden spoon blend all ingredients (takes a little upper body strength ;) get your hands in there and start forming your little balls of goodness! Roll in Cacao or coconut if you choose or not for a more traditional chocolate chip look and taste! Refrigerate until ready to devour!!! Makes 8 Balls.
*Bonus* Almond Butter helps to prevent spikes in blood sugar levels! Yay!!
